Hi, I’m Jody.

I’ve been a hairdresser since 1995, training at Exeter College before gaining experience in Johannesburg, and at the Jingles International Academy in London. After returning to Devon, I ran my own salon and now offer a more personal, one-to-one service from my pod in Bishopsteignton.

I’m passionate about helping clients feel their best through attentive listening, expert advice, and a tailored approach. Alongside hairdressing, I also offer nail and lash services.

I’m currently furthering my skills with a Revlon Masters Colour Specialist course and have a strong passion for both learning and teaching, having trained and assessed others throughout my career.

My Services

  • Whether you're after a quick fringe trim, a dry cut, or a full cut and blow dry, I'd love to look after you.

    I work with all hair types and textures and use Revlon Professional colour and products throughout.

    Come in with a photo, a rough idea, or just tell me what's not working and we'll take it from there.

  • Brassiness, patchiness, a home dye job that didn't go quite to plan, I've seen it all and I'm genuinely not here to judge!

    With over 30 years of colouring experience, I'll have an honest look at your hair, talk you through what's achievable, and put together a plan that gets you where you want to be without compromising your hair's health.

    I use Revlon Professional throughout, so you're in safe hands.

  • A great haircut makes more difference than most blokes realise.

    I offer dry cuts and cut and finish for all lengths, and I also do colour if you fancy it. No fuss, no waiting around, just a good cut done properly.

  • I offer Biosculpture gel nails and toes, manicures, and the Elim pedicure, which is a gorgeous professional foot treatment.

    Whether you want a simple tidy-up or a full set with colour, I'll get your hands and feet looking exactly as they should.

  • Well-shaped brows really do make such a difference to your whole face.

    I offer eyebrow shaping by waxing or threading, tinting, and a tidy tint option if you just need a quick refresh.

    It takes no time at all and lasts for weeks, so it's absolutely worth fitting in regularly.

  • A lash lift is one of my favourite treatments because the results genuinely speak for themselves. Your natural lashes get a beautiful curl and lift that lasts up to six weeks, and I include a tint as part of the treatment.

    No extensions, no daily mascara faff. You'll just wake up looking wide awake and ready to go. From £32.

  • Threading is a brilliant method for precise, gentle hair removal on the brows and face. It's quick, long-lasting, and for a lot of people it's much kinder to the skin than waxing.

    I can add a tint if you'd like a little more definition to finish things off. Brow shape from £11.

  • I use the Elim pedicure system, which is a proper professional foot treatment rather than just a quick tidy-up.

    We'll sort your nails, soften the skin, work on the cuticles, and finish with a gel colour if you'd like one.

    Your feet will thank you for it. From £33 without gel, or £46 including Biosculpture gel on toes.

  • Biosculpture is the professional gel system I use for nails and toes, and I honestly love it.

    It's stronger and more flexible than standard gel, it comes in loads of gorgeous colours, and it's much kinder to your natural nails underneath.

    If you've had problems with peeling or damage after gel before, this is well worth trying. From £32 for nails, £25 for toes.
